True friends are hard to come by, so treasure one if you are lucky to encounter it. It may not be friend at first sight, as sometimes true friends only appear after years of a normal friendship. Sometimes true friends are not found, neither can they just appear from thin air. Sometimes a true friendship only comes when it is natured and treasured. Similarly, a true friendship can turn into a hatred for each other if it lacks love and care. A true friend does what he thinks is the best for you, you may not know, but pause for a moment and think when you had an argument or a qurrel with your friend, have you ever thought that what he or she does is because of you? Have you ever had the impression that what he or she does is because of your friendship with him or her? Rather, have you ever thought that this friend is sacrificing this friendship for your sake? It takes courage to put a friendship at stake for someone, and it also takes courage to forgive someone whom have done something wrong to you. It is actually easier to have a friendship full of laughter and smiles, but deep down inside, you knew that this friendship will not last. However, this friendship always leaves you hollow and empty after all your laughters and fun. It does not have any meaning to it. On the other hand, a friendship full of troubles and problems is one that will become a true friendship. It has a risk in this type of friendship, as the problems and troubles are sometimes too hard to solve. A true friendship only comes when it has gone through many obstscles and problems, but has managed to reach the finishing line. This, is when a true friendship is born. Choose your friends wisely, never go close them because they are rich or famous, but because you want to be his or her friend. A friendship to gain will never last when there is nothing to gain anymore. but a friendship of truth and love will last, even if it means not gaining, but sacrificing... I have true friends in my life and they are always there for me, even though I go over board sometimes:)
